6th, 7th, and 8th Grade
In Junior High, students will start to take a real look at different careers to help them gain greater awareness of what jobs are available. By their 8th grade year, students will have completed an career inventory to help them understand what types of careers they are interested in pursuing. Students will also participate in several cross-curricular guidance lessons to examine link between the student's current academic demands with those of the workforce, so that they understand how skills they are learning today will lead to skills they need in the future.
