Mrs. Carpenter graduated from Tiffin University with a BA in hospitality management. She enjoyed working at restaurants in Sandusky, Ohio, the student union at the University of Toledo, the members buffet at the Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C., and at Mohawk Golf Club in Tiffin as their food service manager. However, after teaching and tutoring at Tiffin University, teaching became a passion. She earned a BA and Masters from BGSU in Curriculum and Teaching. She has enjoyed working at Otsego for 17 years in fourth grade, 3 years in sixth grade, and now 7th grade math. Her hobbies include trying out the recipes from the food channels! She and her husband enjoy worshiping at their church and watching sporting events, especially the Otsego Knights, BGSU Falcons and Michigan Wolverines.
